WHY ACS REMOVES CHILDREN FROM FOSTER PARENTS AND PLACES THEM WITH OTHERS

We receive many calls from NYC foster parents who have had their children removed from their care and placed with others. Why does this happen. The answer is very simple: money. ACS receives more funding when they can remove children from one foster home to another. More money from the federal and state governments and more people being paid to finish the transaction. As we have discusses, the main focus of ACS is to keep their $3.1 billion budget. Thus, they must attack and manufacture cases against every parent that they come into contact with. The safety of children is a distant second. Do not speak to ACS workers if you are contacted and demand an attorney as soon as possible. WHY HAVE I BEEN INDICATED FOR CHILD ABUSE?

Once an Acs worker receives a case, they will give parents a notice that they are under investigation for child abuse. If the ACS worker does not find enough evidence that warrant filing a Family Court case against the parents, they will "indicated" the parents for child abuse. This means that the case is referred to OCFS for a hearing. This is often devastating to parents. This can be especially troubling to parents who are healthcare professionals, or work in child care. In order to remove the indication, the parents will be put through hearing at OCFS. Most troubling is when most parents receive the reports they are shocked as to what they are accused of. ACS workers indicate the vast majority of parents on trumped up charges. Once the worker indicates the parent, they simply walk away and offer no help to the parent in any way. Each year, tens of thousands of New York parents are put through this. The most important thing a parent can do once they have been contacted by

ACS STILL MAKING HOME VISITS AND HARASSING PARENTS DURING CORONA CRISIS

As shocking as this seems, ACS workers are still making home visits and harassing parents during the corona virus crisis. We have received several calls from parents that ACS workers showed up at their homes without any protective equipment looking to speak to their children. This must be stopped at once. We cannot subject our children to the risk of an ACS worker giving the family corona virus. The Mayor should cancel home visits during this time. To do anything else, puts the children of NYC at risk.
