 One of the ways that ACS attacks parents is to make home visits late at night. At the time the children will be sleeping and the ACS worker will demand that the parent wake the children up so they can be checked for bruises.  Our office receives countless calls by parents who want to file a complaint about the ACS worker investigating their case. They often turn to a complaint line that ACS has set up. This is a mere shell game. The ACS supervisors simply take the call if they answer at all and defend the actions of the ACS worker. This allows the ACS worker to continue to manufacture a case against the parents. ACS supervisors do not respond to parents and they do not fear being fired because the agency is so mismanaged they will retain anyone regardless of performance.
