ACS workers will use an old tactic against parents that has been used in many different fields. The "my supervisors" said he wants this. This is used against parents to take the blame off the ACS worker and put it on an amorphous supervisor who is in the background controlling events. The is simply a ruse and should not be followed. The acs agenda is two fold. One, if possible it is to remove children and place them in foster care and if that is not legally possible, ACS wants parents to take useless services. The ACS commissioner recently said to the city council that parents should not have lawyers because they may mis out on "all that ACS has to offer". Be mindful this is a highly dysfunctional agency that attacks thousands of parents each year. They do this to ensure that their $3.1 billion budget keeps increasing.
