 Once ACS starts an investigation against parents, they often call the parents into a child safety conference. This isa process where ACS can deeply interrogate the parents and try and manufacture a case against them. ACS will have the ACS worker their with their supervisors and a person who will call themselves a "facilitator". They may also have a parent "advocate" present. Attorneys are NOT allowed to attend as per ACS policy. Even of the parents hire one before the conference. Once the conference starts, the ACS worker will begin by discussing the ACS "concerns". The parent will then be asked to give their side of the story. This is an opportunity for ACS to dig into the parents lives and try and manufacture charges against them.
