If there is a marital dispute between parents and ACS becomes aware of it, they will use this opportunity to attack the parents and force them into unnecessary "services" and will demand that one parent file for an order of protection against the other. We have always strongly advised to record the ACS worker. We advise clients to tell the ACS worker that they are being recorded. It would be best to make a video recording. The ACS worker will react in a very negative manner. They will wrongly tell the parent that it is illegal to record her and that she does not want to be recorded.
