The Staten Island ACS office is located at 350 St. Marks Place, from this office ACS workers fan out across the island and do home visits. Even while a case is in court and the parents are represented by an attorney, the ACS worker will do a home visit and speak to the parents about the case. The usual ACS worker tactic is to attack the parents as much as possible, disregard their right to counsel and then write a report to the judge that mentions nothing about what actually happened. we strongly encourage every parent to write their own log of what occurred and give them to their attorney to present to the judge.
