HOW ACS WORKERS ARE UNTRUTHFUL WITH PARENTS

ACS workers have a single agenda. They are there to attack parents as much as they can. The process will begin with a usually anonymous phone call to report a parent. The ACS worker will then show up and start digging into your family. The worker will never tell you, you have a right to have an attorney present. The law currently does not mandate that ACS workers must give parents a warning that they can hire an attorney if they chose.

The worker will then demand all medical and background information on each child. Once they have received the records, they comb through them to find any evidence against the parents. A missed doctor's appointment will be used against the parents. Then the ACS worker will demand that the parents engage in "services". This is usually parenting classes or some form of anger management. This is all done without a court order.

The biggest tool in the ACS worker's toolbox is the threat of removing your children, This threat is usually explicitly made or it is hinted at by stating that they will take your case to "court". This makes many parents believe that they do not have a choice and they comply with the ACS worker's demands.

The entire reason for this is to ensure that ACS receives its funding. The more parents ACS "helps", the more funding it receives from state and federal governments. The budget this year for ACS is $2.6 billion with a B.

THE DANGER OF THE ACS HOME VISITS

The bulk of the street level work that ACS does is the home visit. ACS workers take this opportunity to attack the parents in any ay that they can. Initially the ACS worker will demand that the parents not record them. They will actually give you orders in your own home. Do not allow them to do this.
