THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST AN ACS WORKER

Parents often ask, how do I file a complaint against and ACS worker? ACS workers are heavily controlled by their supervisors. There is a big degree of turnover for ACS workers, so in many cases, parents are dealing with a worker who is highly inexperienced and not trained in any way. Thus, the supervisors are where the real power lies. The supervisors are trained to fulfill the two goals of ACS. One, if possible, remove the child from the parents and if not possible, force the family into useless ACS services. This allows ACS to maintain their billion dollar funding and claim that they have helped families. The reality is ACS has very little positive impact on families in NYC. Most ion their time is spent attacking parents and destroying family bonds.  In a very clever move, Acs has set up an office called The Office Advocacy. This is the claim that is made on the ACS website: Contact the Office of Advocacy If you need assistance, please contact the Office of Advocacy. Curren...

ACS DOESN'T HIRE PEOPLE WHO CRITICIZE THE SYSTEM

"It was rational for [the New York City's Administration for Children's Services] to be concerned about the potential disruptiveness of the petitioner's speech" put forward in his essay, wrote the Appellate Division, First Department. By Jason Grant | November 24, 2021     Appellate Division, First Department at 27 Madison Ave. (Photo by David Handschuh/NYLJ) A state appeals court has ruled it was not a First Amendment violation, or arbitrary and capricious, for New York City’s child welfare agency to avoid hiring a man in part because he’d published an essay that laid out his views on the fundamental unfairness of the criminal justice system. “The record supports [the Administration for Children's Services] assertion that it declined to hire petitioner because of its concern for the potential impact of his speech on his work, and not in retaliation for the content of that speech,” wrote a panel of Appellate Division, First Department justices, in part, as t...

HOW ACS USES THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM TO INCREASE ITS BUDGET

They Wanted to Foster Their Great-Grandson. Why Did New York Say No? A lawsuit challenges New York’s system of disqualifying potential foster parents because of their criminal records. The above  headline was an article win The NY Times. you can follow the link to read it. The question becomes, why does ACS disqualify families from becoming foster parents. The answer is simple. Its money. Placing a child in what is called Kinship foster care allows for less funding than in non-kinship foster care. Thus ACS is intentionally harming children for the sake of funding. There are about 9,000 children in the NYC foster care system and each one represents tens of thousands of dollars to ACS.  Our children deserve better. WHY DOES ACS LIE ABOUT PARENTS AND FALSELY ACCUSES THEM?

This is a common question that we receive. At the very basic level, ACS is a multi billion dollar agency that needs to prove its worth. If there are no customers, no business can survive. Thus, ACS workers arena the hunt every day for new parents to attack and force into programs or remove their child. Once a child has been removed from a parents, thousands of dollars begin to flow into the ACS coffers. This allows the agency to justify its existence. What can parents do? The main way to protect yourself is NOT to speak to ACS workers without an attorney. If an ACS worker contact you call us at 917-519-8417.
