HOW ACS HANDLES DAYCARE COMPLAINTS

 When there is a complaint against an NYC daycare, both ACS and OCFS will investigate. Everyone in the daycare will be interviewed and ACS will demand all of the daycare's documents and licenses. The case will then go to OCFS for a hearing on this issues. During this entire process, ACS workers will never tell the owner that the can obtain an attorney. OCFS will be represented by an attorney during every stage.
