Parents are often asked to go to this office for what are known as Child Safety Conferences. These meetings are designed to attack the parents and demand that they agree to "services" or risk going to Staten Island Family Court and having their children removed.  One of the most common questions about ACS is , how di file a complaint about my worker? Unfortunately, ACS has designed a system to protect its workers and themselves. The ACS website tells you to call their complaint number. When you call you will be directed to the worker's supervisor. The supervisor will then simply defend the worker.
