YOU CAN'T HAVE A LAWYER IN THIS CASE

ACS workers who visit parents at the home will often advise parents that they are not allowed a lawyer because the case is not in court. They may also use language like "you don''t need a lawyer". This is simply untrue. The right to counsel in New York is heavily protected by the courts. ACS workers despise dealing with attorneys and in fact ACS policy is that ACS workers do not speak to attorneys. ACS workers will only speak to parents. What is the reason for this policy? Government agents of all types speak to attorneys on a regular basis to resolve cases. ACS workers are very poorly trained and the vast majority have not been on the job very long. Turnover at ACS is rampant and many people quit after realizing the true dysfunction of the agency.

Taken again saying I've been abusive all their lives. As didn't investigate. I'm heavily in my children's school. Didn't even check out the allegations. My children have to be responsible when they are with me. Where they were placed, is a laid back environment, they can do what they want. I need help

THE DANGER OF THE ACS HOME VISITS

The bulk of the street level work that ACS does is the home visit. ACS workers take this opportunity to attack the parents in any ay that they can. Initially the ACS worker will demand that the parents not record them. They will actually give you orders in your own home. Do not allow them to do this. If you have been contacted by ACS, contact our hotline at      917-519-8417 Do not speak to an acs worker without an attorney!! brooklynacslawyer.com queensacslawyer.com bronxacslawyer.com statenislandacslawyer.com sueacs.com
