WHAT IS THE ADMINISTRATION FOR CHILDREN SERVICES (ACS)?

ACS is New York City's child protective agency. Outside of NYC they are called CPS, Child Protective Services. ACS is a city agency that is funded by city, state, and federal tax dollars. ACS receives billions in funding each year to help the children of NYC. Their goal is to prevent child abuse and neglect.
