We receive this question from parents often. ACS workers will knock on your door and demand to be let in. If you do nit let them in, several things may happen. First, and most common, the ACS worker will return with a police officer to try to intimidate you into opening the door. This will often work as many people will not defy a police officer's request.
if a parent still refuses, the ACS worker has the option of going to court and obtaining a court order. The more vindictive ACS workers will ask the judge to force the parent to bring the children to the ACS office. This application to the Court will be done without any notice to the parent.
