The NYC Department of Education is responsible for 1 million children. It is a high bureucratic and dysfunctional agency. Much like ACS. The DOE has learned that they can use ACS to attack parents in order to block parents from criticizing the DOE. This is usually done when a parent inquires about the proper education of their child. The staff will call ACS and accuse the parent of abuse so as to blunt the parent's criticism of the agency. This can be devastating to parents who are only seeking the best education of their child. This practice needs to end and parents should be supported by the DOE not attacked.
